Dear Colleagues and Guests,

It is my pleasure and honor to welcome you to the First Saudi International Conference on Blood Transfusion, organized for the first time by the Blood Transfusion Services Center. This milestone event marks a significant step toward advancing scientific exchange and collaboration in one of the most essential medical fields closely linked to patient safety and healthcare quality.
The conference brings together a distinguished group of experts and speakers from Saudi Arabia and abroad to discuss the latest developments and challenges in blood transfusion medicine, fostering progress in medical practice and ensuring the safety of the national blood supply.

We are especially honored to host the Association for the Advancement of Blood & Biotherapies (AABB) for the first time in the Kingdom—an achievement that underscores Saudi Arabia’s growing global standing and the confidence of international institutions in its national expertise.

The conference also features the recognition of outstanding blood donors, whose generosity and compassion form the foundation of a safe and sustainable blood supply and reflect the highest values of social responsibility and humanitarian giving.
